This morning our @SamaritansPurse cargo plane left North Carolina with nearly 85,000 pounds of emergency supplies for Nepal. These photos show some of the communities where we are working. The destruction is unimaginable. The 30-foot-high wall of water, mud, and debris destroyed everything in its path. Survivors are in shock, grieving, and many have lost everything. So many of their family members and friends were killed or are still missing. We are working with partners in the hardest-hit areas to provide things like water filters, tarps, blankets, hygiene kits, and solar lights. Continue to pray for the people of Nepal. And pray for our teams responding to this overwhelming tragedy in Jesus' Name.
Our @SamaritansPurse DC-8 is leaving tomorrow for Maui loaded with 17 tons of supplies needed for us to help in the aftermath of this disaster. We are working with local churches and emergency management officials to assess the needs and determine how we can best help. 99 people are confirmed dead with the death toll expected to continue to rise. Our hearts go out to the people of Lahaina and all those impacted by this tragedy. Please lift them up in prayer.
@12thMan@TAMU What an incredible weekend he had! Hated he wasn’t able to hold on to the top spots, but he grabbed a spot in America’s heart this weekend! Great things ahead for this young man! Gig’em Sam!
@Gary036930661@RapSheet This was explained by a sports Dr. It was the timing of the hit during the heartbeat process his heart was in at the time of the hit. The likelihood was milliseconds. It is usually a greater concern in baseball (ball hitting the unprotected chest off the bat). Med team was GOAT!
This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen on TV. This ESPN corespondent made “thoughts and prayers” more than just a cliche statement. He actually prayed live on the air for Buffalo Bills Damar Hamlin.
