As a bonus, I can't get verified until I have the card, but told I can't get the card until I'm verified. Spent 30 minutes getting to this entirely frustrating point. Every call I have made so far just says, wait another two days. At which point, it's the same just 2 days later.

@HSBC_UK Appalling service from your customer support. New card supposedly sent out last Thursday, to arrive in 3 working days. Person I spoke to said they can't cancel it + send another, that 6 working days have not yet elapsed since last Thursday, & can't raise complaint

The whole process has taken over 4 weeks, every step longer than you promised it would - best case scenario is now another 10 days until I get it. This is my first time with HSBC, am very close to cancelling it and going elsewhere.
