@BrandonTozzo I’ve voted in both the UK and NZ, and have had a maximum of 2 minutes wait, but only if I’ve ended up at one of the smaller polling stations and all voting booths are briefly full. But then you usually get to greet all the dogs waiting outside, so the time’s never wasted.
@LauraGowing I managed to accidentally and coincidentally wear the same top and scarf for a recorded lecture, and then when I taught the related synchronous class two weeks later... Students like consistency, right??
@KarlSteel I do, at the start and possibly towards the end of tasks/activities, in order to answer questions, clear up misunderstandings and check progress - much as if I were teaching in person. I find that if I set expectations about what/when I’ll pop in, they expect me & keep talking
