MOVING TWITTERS!!! This account will be defunct probably by September 1st, 2021 so please feel free to follow me at @unenchanting instead!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

HELLO FRIENDOS.

As I have threatened to do for about a year and a half now, I am finally making and migrating to a new fandom twitter. It's @unenchanting (I gave up and repurposed the handle of an old fandom/RP OOC account) and you should follow me there!!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Taps the sign, etc.

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Reminderrrrr that I won't be using this twitter any more, so if you'd like to stick with me for fandom hijinks and yelling about media, pls follow @unenchanting instead!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Eleven years on twitter and I'm out here making sure I don't make it to twelve, not on this account, lmao. #MyTwitterAnniversary

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

I haven't collected enough of you to new twitter yet but I'm already bored of thrusting my "hey, I moved!" tweet back on the timeline. Hey. Follow @/unenchanting but like, only if you really want to. Thanks.

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Reminder, YET AGAIN!

Reminder, now at an early morning hour which may or may not be convenient for my opposite time zone friends.

[Lira 💕 (SEMI-HIATUS) @unenchanting]

So me not following someone is not a message of "I do not want to be your friend any more," it is more "I don't know you after a year of hiatus, please refresh my memory." If I followed you and you want to cut ties... Just block me. :')

[Lira 💕 (SEMI-HIATUS) @unenchanting]

Okayyyyy finished following... Probably everyone I'm gonna follow. If I could at least RECOGNIZE SOMEONE by their icon, handle, and twitter bio, and we talked even semi-recently, I followed them. If I didn't recognize them, I didn't.

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Anyway. I followed like a hundred accounts myself and followed back everyone who followed ME, that's all the steam I have in me for this rodeo tonight. Follow my new twitter! Thank you friends!!!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Also if you find me annoying or we just in any way don't click any more, this is your opportunity to be free of me, lmao. Seriously, life is too short to waste time on people you don't enjoy and if I'm one of them, so be it! I support you in choosing not to connect with me!!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

I'm muting everyone's RTs because that makes twitter exponentially more enjoyable for me, so actual chatting and interaction will be really important. I won't have people who are just "the presence on the TL who RTs (thing)." I'm very sociable and I want to actually! Say things!!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Also: To any long time mutuals or followers who never really talked to me, if you enjoy my web presence and want to keep experiencing it, I think it would be REALLY GREAT if you just... Say hi when you follow the new account.

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

I am such a different person now from the me who began using this twitter back in 2010. It's more symbolic than anything but I do find it helpful to put aside the account that has documented all of that and just, start fresh, mentally, and move forward from there.

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Obviously the whole "moving accounts" thing will be a process and will take... At least some number of days to accomplish. I just. Feel some kinda way, to have said for so long that I want to shed this account and to finally be very close to really DOING it.

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

I've seen so many friends come and go while using this handle! And I'm definitely going to lose people in the shuffle and that's weird and kind of scary but also EXCITING, because there are some habits and memories attached to this account which I'm happy to let go of!

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

Once I get everything set up there, I won't be using this account any longer. So if you want to stay in touch and see my fandom blathering and livetweeting, please migrate with me! I'll talk about it more in a bit, but for now: painstakingly hand-migrating my following list.

#tenilt I feel like they're trying to get us onto the correct part of the year before we get to MORE seasonal events, like Halloween and Christmas, which like... Fine, okay, that makes sense, but will we ever fit in the events we skipped? We're skipping so many of my faves. :C

[LIRA @ MOVING ACCTS @catlarks]

#tenilt We also skipped puppy event, because that was April 2018, which means we skipped suspenders Yanagi and suspenders Yukimura. English tenirabi is doing nothing but hurting me, please, I just wanted to recollect my favorite cards. ;;;
