@skylarromines@MatrixMysteries Cost of construction materials and labor skyrocketed over the past 7 -10 years. The 3% inflationary increase that most building insurance policies deploy at renewal have not kept up. Insure to value increases contributed to a hard property market, which is now soft.

@robcarpenter Many group captives provide $2MM or even $5MM primary but have minimum premiums which prevents smaller operators from accessing. They only take the best. It's where all carriers should arrive to be. Put in the work. Your P&L will reward you.
@jon_lisicki@supertrucker@FreightAlley Insurance brokers don't control compulsory state laws on auto liability (AL) limits. And we we don't get 40% commission. 10-20% for AL depending on the insurance company contract. I'm confused by the original post, you want truckers forced to by higher limits?
