Most of you are too young to even conceptualize this, but back in the day before solana people used to trade on ETHEREUM and BNB.

Jokes aside, back in the day with gas and fees it was pretty normal to trade with some fat slippage and not even bat an eye. Solana is pretty cheap and fast which is great, but a lot of the UNCS think the new comers have it too easy

I'm one of the young zoomers so I'm a Sol maxi, but they do have a point. Back then because of the slippage and how much it costed to launch a token, people were a lot more incentivized to hold onto their tokens for dear life. Even if those tokens were named "your mom's balls"

The concept of adding a protective moat to our token really stuck out to me because no one on solana does it.

Through having a tax we are able to flip the typical memecoin experience upside down.

Unfortunately, people have labeled solana as the brokie chain because all people do is buy and sell as fast as possible. I can't really blame them though, the chain is fast as shit and bots keep getting better and better so they're able to play their game.

But that just isn't the game I want to play. And I know a lot of people opted out of that game too. A lot of people left Solana for that exact reason.

So why not change the game? Switch from trading -> holding. Conceptually, the tax takes away from the "trading" side because the dev is dissuading you from selling your tokens BUT through the fees generated the dev is able to provide a whole different experience for the "holding" experience

Again, this is very new to Solana. Eth had tax tokens, BNB had "reflection" tokens which were very popular, but Solana has very few tax meme tokens, and none that stood the test of time

So here I am, a humble developer, attempting to bring people together to do this the right way. With about 3k holders so far and nearly 400k impressions just today, it seems people are starting to like this new holding experience

And this is just getting started
