@yumtapwater Love taking my toddler to Como, perfect size for seeing everything in a reasonable amount of time/doesn’t bum me out at all. They house a ton of disabled/elderly animals like a cougar who had both eyes removed due to infection, and the ppl who work there care big time!

@IberianPikachu Mine was unplanned, so there was a lot that was surprising- but hardest lesson was not getting cocky with delaying my doses of pain meds bc that incision is no joke. Also absolutely get one of those long grabber sticks! House was littered with dropped paci’s before I got mine😂

@justalexoki All Baby Hubris I have ever exhibited has resulted in almost instant humbling. Once said out loud to another mom “we actually haven’t gotten sick that much this winter” (idiot) and my son threw up all over me less than 24 hours later.

Nothing could have prepared me for the part of raising a baby where they are visibly larger from one sleep to another. Like not even just nighttime, naps do it too???
