@ASantaCatolica I see. From your perspective Vatican II was not inspired by the Holy Spirit. Sorry to tell you, but if you reject the validity of Vatican II you are not a Roman Catholic.
@TradCathEd He abandoned the Church to form his own. That’s what Protestantism did. Quit instead of remaining faithful against all adversity. We are definitely on a Spiritual Battle.
@Vitus_osst I pray for him every day, but some of his positions contradict the teachings and Tradition of the Church. For example, to say that we catholics can be in communion with Islam is contradiction of the Catholic faith.
@Acyn To leave the Church because of corruption is a sign that an individual lacks an understanding of the reality of sin and the spiritual battle that the Church has endured from its beginning. The Church is not just a human institution, the Church is also spiritual and eternal.
@snowyxq1 You have to obey God before men. The Pope in some instances speaks on God’s authority. He is the head of the Church and the representative of Christ on earth. But when it comes to temporal issues he is falible.
@JenShaffer8@60Minutes Yes, there is sin in the Church, but there are many who live a coherent and a life of holiness. The Church has failed many times and will continue to fail because all of us are potential sinners.
