As soon as I wake up, I think about altruism. I reflect on the verse that says, "So long as space remains, I will remain in order to serve sentient beings." This gives me inner strength and determination, so there’s no longer any danger of destructive emotions arising.
Sending these books out has always been meaningful to me. But it hits me differently after the past 17 months or so. Hold on to the heart, friends. 🙏☂️ #ReclaimingOurCalling
Thank you @TerriBresnahan for sharing your gift of innovative leadership with us at D87. We are stronger for it! Congratulations on a new beginning! You will be missed.#AlwaysD87
As a teacher, having a personality and using it in the classroom is so important, regardless of that personality type. If you’re a quiet introvert, or a loud extrovert, there are particular kids in your class who can profit from what makes you YOU.
On Wednesday, May 26, join us for a virtual panel of Scholastic authors, education experts, and booksellers who will give tips and book recommendations that will keep kids excited to read all summer long! To RSVP, visit: https://t.co/aoqziqsebo
MANY people have sent this to me this morning and I cry each time I watch it. Libraries make manifest our most aspirational qualities. When we fail to support them, we fail to support the BEST versions of ourselves.
Where do we even begin with expressing our gratitude!?! These @RileyD87 Raptors feel beyond blessed to have received this incredible donation! We appreciate your 💚 and commitment to serving our community - you’re impacting so many in such a beautiful way! @BSD87@EnchantedBP
