It brings me so much joy when I walk into a classroom and see excellent behaviour strategies provided by the class teacher in covering for. I love this sound strategy so students are aware of what noise level is acceptable at participle times. #acuedu_p

Today I had the opportunity to try out a couple of behaviour strategies.
Dojo points: Students try to get as many points as possible to get rewards.
Bouncy balls: Is extremely helpful to manage noise and for students to self regulate their behaviour. #acuedu_p

This week one of my younger students was struggling with letter recognition. To develop his knowledge I decided to take one of his favourite things and play a game to help him identify capital and lower case letters. Safe to say we both felt like ice cream after🤭 #acuedu_p

With the year getting busier, I’ve found it difficult to keep track of all of my different tutoring lessons. Today I decided to organise my students in folders so that I could keep track and remind myself of the lesson I have coming up with them☺️. #acuedu_p #organsied

In May I will be doing my last prac in a kindergarten class. I found this focus wall created by Ms. brittney on tiktok to be a creative way to keep an organised class without creating too much change for children in my class whilst still making the space my own. #acuedu_p

What do I hope to get out of the Transition Unit? I hope to deepen my knowledge on behaviour management . I hope to resource different ways of handling situations and create a structure in my classroom whilst undertaking casual teaching and in my future career. #acuedu_p
