Before the first Pride march in 1994, our lesbian sisters were the first who dared to come out to the streets when the Lesbian Collective joined the International Women’s Day protest in 1992.
Today, they marched with a replica of the banner they carried 34 years ago.
Pre-colonial Philippine natives worshipped nature. Our ancestors were animists. Why build a temple when you can just worship a tree, a river, your family ancestor's statues at home?
Even now, rural folk avoid certain parts of the forest in respect of supernatural beings.

"I am encouraging the teammates not to relent in their struggle. And I will be happy if they do." — Elias Adili 🥹💙
A lending app is running billboards targeting people who can't afford their commute home.
This is disgusting and incredibly exploitative.
Every day we see new lows for the PH. 🇵🇭💔
🔸Are the Tacloban high school shooters fans of the Columbine shooter?
I saw the photos of these suspects in the San Jose National High School shooting in Tacloban today and can’t help but notice what’s written on one of the suspect’s shirts…
One of the guys was wearing a shirt featuring KMFDM, a prominent industrial metal band formed in the 1980s.
The acronym stands for the German phrase Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid, which translates to "No Pity for the Majority."
If that sounds familiar, it's because this exact band was heavily linked to the infamous 1999 Columbine High School shooting in the US, as those shooters were massive fans.
Seeing this logo pop up in a Philippine school shooting is a chilling detail we can't ignore.
