The Islamic Republic does not allow free journalism in Iran. Even Iranian reporters inside the country face brutal censorship, intimidation, and repression.

Iranian journalists in exile cannot even set foot in Iran, they would be arrested immediately. In recent years, they and their families have endured some of the harshest crackdowns and harassment.

So what makes you think the doors suddenly “open” for you to report the reality on the ground?

You are not reporting freely, you are validating the regime’s narrative.
You are there because the Islamic Republic wants you there. Nothing more.

Your presence and your reporting have no value beyond propaganda and whitewashing repression.
