Try this strategy to IMMEDIATELY boost web referral traffic from your Facebook Pages👇

Step 1: post the article share as an image + link in caption
^ this is the first layer of clicks

Step 2: set the first comment to go out 1.5 hours later (some scheduling apps like Post Planner now offer this feature)
^ this is the second layer of clicks

Step 3: if the post performed well, share it in the 'link preview' format later in the day.
^ this is the third layer of clicks)

Notes:

A) Yes, adding a link in the caption of Facebook Page posts will throttle the reach of that post.

B) That's why the articles you share should be VIRAL and you need to do a good job curating them, so as to overcome the throttling.

C) In the end, the tradeoff of increased clicks relative to reduced reach is what you're after.
