@DeadbyDaylight can you do something about the servers crashing please? It’s infuriating to get a match making penalty because the server crashed 🙄 AGAIN
@DeadbyDaylight
Are there any plans to tidy up and make the bug reporting section on the forums better to use?
If my recent maths is correct there are only 180 pages of closed bug reports out of a total of 792 pages.
These closed reports are mixed in with the live ones! 😅
Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month is now two weeks away, so I would like to formally announce 2025's Candles in the Fog.
Candles in the Fog is a suicide prevention campaign that draws inspiration from the symbolism that candles hold for suicide awareness, and applies that to the fog of Dead by Daylight. Just as survivors in DBD navigate the fog searching for safety, this campaign aims to shine a light for those navigating the fog of mental health challenges, and to commemorate the loved ones that we've lost.
Fundraising will take place from September 1st through 30th. All funds raised through this campaign support the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) in their mission to provide resources, crisis support, and spread awareness to help those in need. Last year, Candles in the Fog raised over $3,000 for the IASP, which I am beyond proud of and grateful for.
This cause is important to me as I have personally lost three family members to suicide. It is an incredibly touchy and sometimes triggering subject for me due to my own traumatic experiences. However, it's my hope to use this campaign to make a difference for others as a way to honor the memory of those who I've lost.
This year, I'm making it easier for the community to participate in the fundraising efforts. The Candles in the Fog campaign will be set up through Tiltify to allow anyone to create their own individual fundraiser under it. This way, creators can set their own fundraising goals and keep track of their progress, making it easier for anyone to hold their own charity events and set incentives for them and their community.
I am forever grateful for everyone who participated in and contributed to Candles in the Fog last year. I know this cause holds great importance for many of you. This is an open invitation for anyone to participate and contribute to this campaign, whether that be fundraising yourself, donating, or just spreading the cause around. It is all deeply appreciated.
@DeadbyDaylight While the apology is appreciated, there’s much work to be done. We, the players, have been pointing out issues for months, & a lot of them are yet to be addressed. And I don’t mean the X is too strong issues, I mean Genuine issues. Bugs, Cheaters etc
So… um
Ghoul (model) isn’t even looking at me, and I’m ROUND THE CORNER. I take damage. Clearly Ghoul’s built in auto aim.
I’ve had enough of this. Like how is this even considered okay?
#DeadbyDaylight
Random #DeadbyDaylight thought, but wouldn’t it be cool to have a moonlight bouquet event? For the players who never got to use them, and for those who will remember the nostalgia of having such offerings? Even if it was only a gamemode
The single most frustrating thing about Kaneki.
I saw this goblin scamper every pallet, so I greed knowing they'll do it, but when I'm forced to drop it or get M1'd I still get downed no matter what.
@DeadByDaylight can you confirm if changes are coming for this?
#DBD
please tell me it is a known bug that Ghouls can hit through walls, because I’m sick of being on the other side of a wall and being grabbed pulled back into the wall and taking damage.
As you can see I’m on the other side of the wall and have been hit
@RealSlowLoris thoughts?
The 3k vs 4k mentality is kinda meh right now. Just got bled out by a nemesis for 4 minutes because ‘He decides if he 3ks or 4ks’. @RealSlowLoris Mind giving your thoughts on it?
@RealSlowLoris As much as I love events, the event burn out is really something right now. I wish they’d fix things like the 5 gen situation on Pale Rose, and the layout of Forgotten Ruins, and some of the collision on the new Ormonds and the Singu Audio Bug. 😅
@Gaming_Athlete_@QuestionedTurke@DeadbyDaylight I’ve been running some numbers from my own games (data set not complete but around 120 games documented so far). In around 50% of those games a survivor has given up.
