It didn't quite happen in time to announce on the @89combo this week, but here's the writing news I promised in Ep.1.
I'm really thrilled to pen my debut Australian column for @RugbyPass, and will be doing exactly that each week in 2024.

On my recent journey's around Europe, a CEO of a national sporting organization asked me "how can we grow our participation numbers?"
I replied, "Invest in your #coaches".
"Why?", she said.
"Because ultimately, your sport IS your #coaches. Coaches and #coaching are the connection - the relationship builders - the deliverers of the experience of your sport. No matter what your strategic plan says or what your marketing plan might be, in the end, your sport is delivered day to day by your coaches. Invest in them - and your sport's success is assured".

"There is a sense that this week, the All Blacks have once again arrived in Johannesburg. This time, not playing for Foster’s job, but playing for his legacy." A few thoughts on Ian Foster's final week as All Blacks coach... today in @PlanetRugby#RWCFinal https://t.co/npM6XUppE7
Wow, what a finish.
Instant Reaction with @haribaldijones & @Ringo26 out soon - and it's fair to say there was a good deal of relief on the faces of my colleagues...
