FWIW, if a business did anything like this to Ilhan Omar or pretty much anyone else who codes as pro-Palestinian, it would be reported and opined about as a sign of the terrifying rise of Islamophobia by all the respectable journalistic outlets. etc.
BREAKING: An Iranian fan at the World Cup held a sign asking: “Where is Rashid Mazaheri?”
Mazaheri, Iran’s former goalkeeper, was abducted by the IRGC in January after speaking out against the regime’s senseless killing of protesters.
Truly wild stuff from a local NYC coffee shop — the city has become a very broken place

One of Leon Rose’s Good Luck Charms on this Knicks Championship Run?
A piece of slate from the City of David in Ancient Jerusalem.
Gifted to him by the Philadelphia Eagles GM, Howie Roseman. Also a Jewish exec who won a Championship.
I don’t get why people are impressed by a guy who is good at reading other people’s speeches. He’s a professional actor. People slobbering all over Mandami. I get that politicians always try to make sports about them and use it to their advantage so I guess you can’t blame Mandami for hogging the spotlight. But dude couldn’t name 1 player besides Brunson when asked during a debate last year. Now he’s a super fan? I think it speaks to how inauthentic he is and how dumb people are who slurp it up. That’s just me though
One complaint if I may about that parade:
I would have much preferred to hear from more players and less goofy politicians.
KAT, Hart, Mikal, OG … deserved some mic time.
Alas, a surreal day that we will never forget.
