What a win that is and what a season it’s been. In our first season in the Genero Adran South we comfortably secure second place. We still have a semi final to go and more information will be released at a later date. Happy Sunday everyone!!

A seven-goal thriller at The Rock in the Genero Adran U19s Premier Conference saw Wrexham AFC fight back from two goals down, to win in the final minute against Carmarthen Town. 

Evie Jones scored twice early on to give Carmarthen the advantage in North Wales. Grace Morris scored shortly after to half the deficit, before Ana Jones equalised just after the hour mark. 

Wrexham took the lead for the first time through Morris with 20 minutes to go. Ophelia Jenkins then equalised for Carmarthen as they looked to be taking a point away from home, but a last minute winner from Morris completed her hattrick, and puts Wrexham four points from top spot. 

In the Championship Conference, Swansea City took a big step towards the title in a 6-0 win against 2nd place Cardiff Met. 

A close-encounter last time between the two saw The Archers claim victory, but this time it was no contest. Susanna Cunningham gave The Swans the lead going into the break. 

Cunningham scored a second from the spot just half the hour mark, and from then on the goals kept coming. Florence Tarrant scored a brace to make it four, before Lowri Jones scored in yet another game for Swansea for their fifth. 

In the closing stages of the game, Cunningham completed her hattrick to make it six. Swansea City can win the title next week, with a win against Llanelli Town AFC on Tuesday and by avoiding defeat to Aberystwyth Town on Friday night.

Very tough pill to swallow after such a great fixture between both sides, neither team deserved to win and neither deserved to lose. Credit to @wrexhamafcwomen for being great hosts. Now onto a great night up north!
