Just listening in to this discussion and I have to say I have become angry very quickly.

To tell women to stay in lit areas, hold your keys as a weapon to protect yourselves, yet also say we are supposed to feel safe! It's ridiculous. I have been doing these

things for years and it's true women cannot do everything like men without an element of risk (e.g walking home alone in the dark).

If there was a pedophile problem going on we would deal with the perpetrators. Not tell people to not dress their kids up to invite unwanted
