I’m 53, I blew out my knee 3rd game of my senior season in high school, I was never as good as I thought I was but I worked hard and was a two way starter (I was no where in your league) and I still think about what I could have done differently to be a better player. Missing that game has made me better in my career. It won’t leave you, ever. That isn’t a bad thing.
Four sleeps until @HuskerFootball! Five sleeps until @PLSouthFB! Six sleeps until @ReiverFootball! Seven sleeps until @jrwfootball1! More than pumped to see the on field results of my nephews’ hard work. Guessing my voice is going to be shot by this time next week…
@BraxtonBarnby is a fricken beast playing rugby. I’m making sure I make it back for one of his games next season. I also can’t wait to see how his rugby conditioning translates to his play this fall. Going to be a very different 41 than people saw last year!
Clock is ticking - 59 days until kickoff! Keep working with a sense of urgency. Sure, it’s just a game and there will be more important things that you do in your life, but you will miss this grind long after it’s over and you will find yourself 30+ years from now wishing you had done something more or different and living vicariously through your kids or nephews playing the game. #SailsUp 🏴☠️
Hardest spot to play from. Every one wants to make you locker room material before the game. Until you drop some games, every single game is against someone that has you circled on a calendar. If you’re smart, go and put your own circle around every game this year. Assume every team is going to give you their best game. Sails up!
Had a great time watching these @PLSouthFB players competing out on the Rugby field today! They played hard and ended up winning the championship in a shutout! Excited to get back out next year to watch @PapioSouthRugby again!
@BraxtonBarnby has got some moves! I figured he would just be trying to truck guys - showing that next gear and nice change of direction / ability to stutter and get back up to speed quickly! Impressive stuff.
Barely older than some of this year’s high school recruits and spent is year standing up and splitting double teams from house sized O-linemen. Great looking highlights - plays smart and makes sure his assignment is covered before chasing down the play. Only going to be stronger and more refined in his technique next year!! @JuCoFootballACE@JUCOFFrenzy
@DocTalkSports Satterfield’s play calling is dumbfounding. There is an arrogance in how he insists on moving away from what is working to what he wants to work. He can’t help himself.
@steven_sipple Satterfield is committed to moving away from what IS working to what he wants to work, but we can’t execute. Seriously seems like he self sabotages in key moments.
