@SoxMach_pnoles The guys in the Sox back pocket won't question it either. They'll try to explain it away with "they won". Richards was bad and Cleveland had horrible at bats. If he knew that was going to be the plan, why not pitch him earlier?
@JamesFox917 One. Maybe 2 at most. Not 3 or 4 every game. And how's it been working out for them against lefties? Metrics should be used as a tool not a solution. Common sense needs to prevail at some point.
@ChiSoxFanMike The team is good. But they're literally being managed for growth, not wins. When will whitesox Twitter people start talking about who's managing in baseball resumes in 28.
@ChiSoxFanMike We were told by others on here that all they had to do was make the playoffs to have a chance. I believe this team saw that leadership wasn't truly "all in". This collapse is going to set the core back. But hey, what do I know. I should be happy they're in 1st place on 8/7
@ChiSoxFanMike And at what point to we have conversations about who the manager will be when this team is ready to compete? Its not Venable. Brozoban is not a closer!
@ChiSoxFanMike As pleasac said about 50 times, there's only 51 games left. Theres no more room for these types of games. I wish venable would listen and stop putting games away when lefties start!
@Ecnerwal23 No worries. We should be happy with just the Catillo move. After all, some here think the only goal is to make the playoffs. This is the real Davis Martin unfortunately Herb.
@Ecnerwal23 Very underwhelming. Hopefully now they actually pick a closer and play their best players until they clinch. No more platooning 3 or more guys against righties, its not working! That alone can add a few more wins.
@Sam_Phalen I hate to say it. Same Ole Sox. Went shopping at the discount store instead of being all in. This gives them a better chance at making the playoffs, but not a guarantee. The Gaurdians got better today.
