In the progress from the black and white screens of Doordarshan to the HD and now 4K digital transition, Prasar Bharati has played a pivotal role. The @MIB_India has been a steadfast guardian of the broadcasting industry, steering it through winds of change.

Swadesh Darshan is a central government-aided scheme. The Ministry of Tourism has so far sanctioned 76 projects under the scheme, of which 64 have been completed. Under this, the tourist places are being equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Under the PRASHAD scheme, 46 projects have been sanctioned, and 26 new sites have been identified. It aims at the holistic development of selected pilgrimage sites in the country.
