Pray for Thibodaux. Really difficult morning. Going through my memories of photo/videos right now. It was amazing covering Kyren Lacy. He really loved his home. That smile was always bright. So talented and a fun kid. He just wanted to accomplish his dreams. RIP @alltimegreattt
Sometime the pain gets too much to carry, & the solutions are too difficult to search for. If you are starting to feel that life is too much tell someone. You won’t be a burden. People love you. Give them a chance to tell you. Give them an opportunity to show you.
R.I.P. Kyren! 🕊️ 🙏🏾
Michel and the kids went skiing up in the NW yesterday. I’d love to be with them, but it didn’t work out.
Jenni, Frank, and Beau suggested the Quarter for Mardi Gras Day, which I had yet to experience, so I figured I’d see what that’s like. The plan was to go to Frank’s studio to be DJ Stevie G, but Life rarely goes as planned, especially with ALS, or on Mardi Gras day.
We ended up walking in the Saint Anne parade for a few hours. There’s so much joy and love here in Nola. AND, turns out that I was overdressed with my jacket and gloves, so I went skins.
Thank you to all the wonderful people of New Orleans.
