JUST IN: SpaceXSI has launched Grok for Startups
You get 6–12 months of credits across Grok, Grok Build, Grok Bot and the API, and every single dollar you spend gets matched 1:1 in free credits next month, for six months straight.
It's time to build. https://t.co/x8cpOjKC63
Small Grok Bot wish: one-time reminders should clean themselves up after they fire. Today my assistant and I deleted five spent ones that would have quietly fired again next year. Sent it in as feedback. @grok
@TokenGremlin I wouldn't be so sure. I was early on OpenClaw, early on Perplexity's computer agent, and ran remote tmux sessions to keep my agents alive. It wasn't until Grok Bot that it all just worked. I'm a Claude Code fan and I'm cheering for Duet, but the bar is real now.
@poteto Perfect timing. I was just about to retire an old Vercel + Supabase dashboard. First page I want: a live blockers list my bot keeps current, so I stop scrolling chat for it. Can a page pull data on its own, or only when the bot updates it?
@codeglitch Hmm. Maybe I need to rethink my plan? So far I have 9 bots but mostly for planning and ops with communication to a Claude Code session for build. I plan to send one project to a Dev Bot working with cursor cloud agents. Bad idea?
@lingxi@bot@lingxi@bot One more from my two weeks: when Grok Bot proposes a message and I tap "edit," let me edit the draft inline right in the app, for any channel. It's the fastest way for the bot to learn my voice, especially on mobile. Thanks for asking.
@GeoffreyHuntley@bot Seems reasonable. I don’t use that feature in notes but “detach tab” in a new browser window. Well… For those who still use browsers. 😁
@Gaus450 Depends what you need. For me: Claude for coding, ChatGPT for planning and writing, and Grok @bot as my personal assistant. Pure coding? Claude Max at $100.
I hate busywork. The goal is always to cut out unnecessary tasks and win back every minute I can. I've used plenty of bots and agents, but I'm still surprised that @Grok@bot finds at least one new way to do that for me every day.
@debs_obrien@bot Good idea. I just hate busywork. The goal should always be to eliminate unnecessary tasks and reclaim every possible minute of your day.
@lingxi@bot@lingxi Bug in the Grok Bot iPhone app: when my bot drafts an email card and I reply in chat without saying "send," the card flips to Answered and closes. A card should only resolve when I tap its own button. Haven't checked whether desktop does the same.
Restarted my Mac mini this morning and couldn't remote back in. Asked my Grok Bot assistant, Val, what was up. Val reached the box, found Tailscale had stopped after the reboot, turned it back on, and I was back in within minutes. It also caught that my coding agent's login had expired before I'd noticed. This is what an AI chief of staff looks like. @grok
@lingxi@bot Another one: opt-in location for Grok @bot. When I ask for something nearby, the bot prompts me to share and I tap [5 min] or [24 hrs], then it expires. My assistant shouldn't have to ask where I am every time, but it shouldn't always know either.
Feature idea for Grok @bot: one-tap location sharing.
When I need something nearby, let the bot ask, and I tap to share. Two buttons:
• 5 minutes
• 24 hours
Then it expires. Helpful when I need it, private the rest of the time.
Would you use this?
@lingxi@bot Another small one for Grok @bot: long lines in code blocks don't wrap in chat, so drafts run off the edge and I have to copy them out to read them. Wrapping, or a toggle, would make reviewing drafts inline much faster. 🙏
Grok @bot iPhone tip: copying a formatted reply into iMessage turns the bold, bullets and links into a mess.
Fix: ask your bot to put anything you want to share in a plain-text code block. Copy that block and it pastes clean.
Better yet, tell it to remember, so it does that automatically from now on.
Before heading to the airport I asked Grok @bot to pay a supplier in Mexico.
It pulled the bank details from their email, set up the Wise wire, and caught a fee shortfall so they'd get paid in full.
My whole job was typing my password. ✈️
