After all this world has been through (Covid, wars and Mike) it has totally lifted my spirit to get back to a Social D concert again (Mesa)! I have tix for Toronto and Tucson. I may be in Ukraine again, but hope to be there!

@Gerashchenko_en I’m in Canada. I’m disappointed in the lack of coverage. Of course, attacks like the other day are covered, but it just feels like the attention span of press and citizens alike is very sporadic.

@Gerashchenko_en I was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. I have lived for almost 20 years in Tucson, Arizona, USA. But I have spent more time in Vinnytsia, Kyiv and Kherson this year than either of the previous mentioned places.

Viktoria Amelina, Ukrainian writer, died on 1st July after a Russian missile strike on Kramatorsk on 27 June.

She was in the pizzeria with a delegation from Colombia who came to support Ukraine.

Viktoria documented Russian war crimes on de-occupied Ukrainian territories. She was working on a book about seeing the war through women's eyes.

A great loss. Deepest condolences to Viktoria's family.
