The danger isn't so much the criminal behaviour itself…it's how Law Enforcement grew comfortable empowering them.

I spoke with a retired soldier from Quebec who lived through the FLQ Crisis under Pierre Trudeau.

He told me he was once ordered to carry loaded weapons against his own people.

That history matters.

He took an oath to defend the country against foreign and domestic enemies — and in his view, the federal government itself has become a domestic threat to the people it claims to govern.

Then we talked about how ominous all of this feels now.

He said he is surprised the Alberta independence movement has not already been labelled a riot or rebellion.

After what happened to the Freedom Convoy, that concern is not imaginary. A Federal Court ruled the Emergencies Act invocation was unreasonable, and the Federal Court of Appeal later upheld that finding.

This is why peaceful, legal, democratic self-determination matters so much.

He said he is doing this for his kids and grandkids.

He and his mustache have agreed to pay a $2.25 MILLION fine, face up to 60 MONTHS in prison, and forfeit his pension.

“As Mr. Bolton just admitted, he put our national security at grave risk in violation of the law,” the DOJ said

Give him all 60 months!

Bolton is scheduled to be sentenced in October.

A homeowner in Canada caught these guys dumping their old couches into the woods across from their property. They chased them down and made them go back and pick it up and then made sure they went to the dump to dispose of them like they should have in the first place.
