Bessho Onsen, Nagano.

A quiet hot spring town with traditional streets.
I enjoyed walking around and visiting the public baths (soto-yu).

A perfect place to slow down.

I waited in line for over 30 minutes in the chilly air, and had whelks（sea snails）and ramen. First time in four years. I’d love to go back and have it again sometime.

I visited Murakami-city Doll Festival for the first time. It was also my first time seeing so many salted salmon hanging on display.

It was snowing pretty hard, at New Chitose Airport, and I was honestly worried, but my flight is going ahead.
What a relief.

Now I can work tomorrow.
Not that I really want to.

I’d been wanting to see the Sapporo Snow Festival for a long time.There were tons of incredible snow sculptures. I’m so glad I came!

Thanks to Aomori. Im leaving. Time of staying was about 1 hour. Spent 5 hours on bullet train just to have the fixed lunch.
