In April 2021, Wang performed "LMLY" at the Harper's Bazaar Fashion Icons Party, where he was named "Musician of the Year." He then made his U.S. late-night TV debut, performing "LMLY" on The Late Late Show With James Corden. By June 2021, he was ranked in the top 10 on ForbesChina Celebrity 100 and was listed on Tatler Hong Kong Asia's Most Influential individuals in the culture field. In July 2021, Jackson became a mentor on the Tencent variety show, 'Girls Like Us' and released a remix of Rich Brian, NIKI, and Warren Hue's "California"! That year, Jackson won several awards, including "Best Male Artist of the Year" at the NetEase Indie Music Awards, "Most Influential Male Singer in Asia" at the Chinese Top Ten Awards and "Best Original Music Award" for the single "Alone" at the Global Chinese Music event! Jackson was born in Hong Kong to 2 athletic parents. Before joining GOT7, he was a sabre fencing champ, winning multiple awards as part of the Hong Kong national fencing team, and came in first at the Asian Junior and Cadet Fencing Championship in 2011! While preparing for the 2012 London Olympics, he was offered a scholarship to attend Stanford University for fencing, but turned it down after winning his audition with JYP entertainment, and moved to Seoul, South Korea to begin his K-pop training. GOT7 released its first single, "Girls Girls Girls" from its debut EP 'Got It?' on 16 January 2014.

Jackson is also a TV star and has hosted many hugely popular TV programmes! In December 2014, he starred in his first variety show, 'SBS' Roommate', and was later awarded the Newcomer Award at the 2014 SBS Entertainment Awards. He also appeared on 'Star King', 'Law of the Jungle', 'Happy Together', 'Radio Star', 'Problematic Men', 'Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education', 'Saturday Night Live Korea' & 'A Look At Myself' & 'Fresh Sunday'! On 29 April 2016, GOT7 held their first concert in Seoul, with Jackson performing his self-composed songs "I Love It" & "WOLO" with Yugyeom & BamBam. In December 2016, he was named Variety Star of the Year at the Tencent Variety Show Star Awards! In January 2017, Wang was awarded the Popular Artist of the Year award at the Sina Weibo Awards! In December 2017, he was named the Breakthrough Singer of the Year at the Tencent Video Star Awards! Jackson has won numerous other Awards including 8 Weibo Music Awards, 7 Asian Pop Awards, 5 Sine Weibo Night Awards, 5 Net Ease Music Awards, 3 China Top 10 Music Awards, 2 Channel R Radio Awards, 2 Bazaar Icon Awards, 2 Esquire Awards, 2 C-Pop Hot Show Awards, 2 Global 1 Wave Music Awards, a Teen Choice Award, an SBS Entertainment Award, 3 Ten Cent Video All Star Night Awards, a Top Chinese Music Award, a Global Chinese Golden Chart Award, a Universe Boom Super Sphere award, a Philippine K-Pop Award and an Asia Music Gala Award!

Jackson is also a successful entrepreneur, and in 2017, he founded 'Team Wang', and became the creative director and lead designer for its subsidiary fashion brand Team Wang Design! He is a Top Model, a Fashion Icon and Global Ambassador for Cartier!

Jackson is also a Philanthropist, and in January 2025, he donated ¥1 million yuan to the China Foundation for Rural Development to help those affected by the Tibet earthquake!
