Anton Ego’s speech in Ratatouille is still one of the best monologues ever written.
"There are times when a critic truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new.
The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations.
The new needs friends"
After many years of development, I’m excited to share the interior of the first electric Ferrari designed by LoveFrom. Tactile controls and digital interactions blend into one cohesive interface, shaped through deep collaboration across engineering, interaction, graphics, typography, sound, and industrial design. So incredibly proud of the thoughtfulness and care the team brought to every detail.

Startups are hard.
Personally:
Started in Dec 2004, exited in Sept 2016 then worked for them for 4 years. 16 years journey!
We had 5M users on our gamer communication app before Discord, and they still won.
Survived 2007 crash after burning most of our Series A cash when the music stopped. Went from getting 20 investors meetings a week to 0 for a year. Luckily found 2 angels who bridged us from death. We had 6 weeks of cash with 20 employees. I've never had so much stomach pain episodes in my life than during that time.
First product stalled at $5M. Built multiple others that each stalled at $10M+ between 2004–2015. (forums and wiki platform, YT network, Ad networks) I had to reinvent the company many times.
Reddit destroyed all our forum traffic.
Made every hiring mistake possible early.
In 2008, our main investor tried to convince me to step down and bring in an “adult” CEO. I walked out of the meeting lol.
Dealt with multiple frivolous lawsuits, one even served a day before Christmas.
I never thought about quitting once
Just. Wow. As we went over Mexico and the U.S. this morning, I caught this sprite.
Sprites are TLEs or Transient Luminous Events, that happen above the clouds and are triggered by intense electrical activity in the thunderstorms below. We have a great view above the clouds, so scientists can use these types of pictures to better understand the formation, characteristics, and relationship of TLEs to thunderstorms.
Huge thanks to @LewisHamilton and the entire cast and creative team for putting such heart and purpose into the film. Can’t wait for everyone to experience F1 The Movie.
I always love the fun and adrenaline of a racing film. Today marks two racing milestones for my friend Jerry Bruckheimer, the release of F1 and the 35 year anniversary to the day of our collaboration with the great Tony Scott on Days of Thunder.
