@PharmD_intheED I never followed through with the blue sky transition but noticed the drop off on great dialogue on X. Dialogue seems more confrontational than fruitful. There are a few accounts that are mostly physician run with good threads but little back and forth. You recommend blue sky?

🚑 New in #AJEM#ThePitt captures the chaos, intensity, and humanity of the ED better than most shows. But there’s one piece still missing…

@BCB_PharmD We all have pride in something we do, and in some places it’s growing corn 🤣 I don’t know, there must be something about the rain east of the Missouri River
@mcuban They’re certainly the middle man bloat of drug prices but you didn’t mention PBMs often reimburse pharmacies less than the price of the medication for fills and through audits and clawbacks they destroyed locally owned pharmacies
I saw this in the morning and later that evening found myself in an arrest without an available nurse to push a med.
With a pharmacy director who says it’d be out of scope for me to push the amiodarone/esmolol.
Tip of the 🎩 to the authors
Thankful for the opportunity to work with some great individuals doing amazing things in EM pharmacy related to pharmacist administration of injectable medications. Check out our recent AJHP publication!

So I ran my first 5K yesterday with some of my favorite ER nurses.. I crossed the finish line and was lowkey kinda bummed because I didn’t see the ones that were supposed to be at the end cheering for us. Turns out they were literally 20 feet away from me coding a patient 🙃
PBMs are making $$$$$ by stealing money from patients and pharmacies at the same time. We continue to struggle to link patients discharged from the ED to a community pharmacy as they’re all forced to close from shrinking profit margins. Often being CHARGED money to fill an Rx
SEMP is proud of founding member Rob O’Connell, an Emergency Medicine Pharmacist, featured on CNN Town Hall! He highlighted the vital role EM pharmacists play in public health & addressed critical concerns. Inspired by his leadership! #EMRx#SEMPharm#TwitteRx
