Macron really had the nerve to ask why French people are destroying France.
Either he is blind or he hates France.
French people are not destroying France. Immigrants are.
Britain feels like a care home where the residents have been left in charge, the staff have nicked the medication, and management are demanding a pay rise.
And somehow, WE’RE the problem. 😂
I’m fortunate. I’ve been successful in business, I have money, I don’t have to worry about our financial future. I donate my entire MP salary to local charities, to show that I’m in politics for the right reasons.
I’ll be honest. I don’t have to worry about paying the mortgage each month, or having enough money to buy the children what they want for their birthday, or even being able to put food on the table.
I don’t, but I know millions of Brits do. That’s the brutal reality.
Hardworking British men and women should not have to live like that. If you work hard, put the hours in and live honestly?
You should be rewarded for it, properly.
That means lower tax, MUCH lower tax and higher thresholds, but it also means a state that can keep inflation under control so that the cost of living does not outstrip your wage.
Fuel, food shop, clothes, electricity. Everything. It all gets more expensive whilst so many earn the same.
Inflation. All driven up by the decisions of politicians who will never have to live with the consequences of their actions.
Our economy is completely broken. It works for the international corporates, the bureaucrats, the London managers.
It does NOT work for the plumber, the entrepreneur, the farmer, the construction worker, the hairdresser, the nurse, the sole trader, the HGV driver, the police officer.
We must aim to entirely reshape how the economy works so that vast profits made from British workers are not shifted offshore through complex corporate structures whilst working families are bled dry by our corrupt state.
I want family businesses to thrive, entrepreneurs to succeed, risk-takers to flourish. Those who contribute, protect and enhance our society rewarded. I want the shirkers and piss-takers crushed.
That’s what I want. That’s what Restore Britain wants.
I don’t want the parasitic global corporations or our rotten state profiting off the ingenuity and sweat of the British risk-taker. Rotten monopolies that have no respect for the individual will end.
In short - an economy that provides for our people.
There is ONE way out. A Britain that lives within it means. Just as we all have to, our state must do the same. Spend less than it earns. It’s that simple.
That is how we make Britain affordable again, make Britain ambitious again and make Britain work again.
That’s what a Restore Britain Government will deliver.
Release the innate brilliance and tenacity of the British people.
Our entrepreneurial spirit conquered the world before and we can do it again.
I don't want Digital ID, now or ever - and I certainly don't trust the state with that level of power over our lives. I made my objections abundantly clear in Parliament this afternoon to the senior civil servants responsible.
Andy Burnham’s own former adviser Andy Haldane says next week’s Budget will borrow more and raise taxes to please Labour backbenchers, scaring off investors and choking growth.
Critics are already calling it the "you will own nothing budget"
THIS HAS BOILED MY BLOOD! 😡
My mate Sean Baker, a proper British veteran, said it straight. Protesters climbed all over the Battle of Britain War Memorial and trampled the wreaths laid for our fallen… and now someone’s selling a “Palestine Poppy” in Palestinian flag colours to deliberately hijack Remembrance Day.
The red poppy has been for our war dead since the first Poppy Appeal on 11 November 1921. That’s 105 years. It’s not a political tool.
Wearing one of these is a direct insult to the British soldiers who gave their lives for this country.
He’s right. Leave the poppy alone.
BBC EXPOSED! - Civil Servants Writing the News Inside the Newsroom!
For years the BBC has told us it is independent, impartial, and free from government interference. They were very proud of that line.
Now the Telegraph reports that 39 civil servants have been placed inside BBC
