Been using a postdoc desk for ~1.5 years bc I was one of the only people working on a floor and original desks assigned didnโt have power. Fast forward to now and was forced to move to original grad student desk and it still doesnโt have power after over a year of complaints!!!
xgboost feels so much worse (mostly messier having to convert between df for visualization and sparse matrix for model input/prediction) to implement in R compared to the randomForest package
