Balogun was in on goal. He beat the defender and was about to score.
No red card. No penalty. No yellow card. No foul. No review.
The bizarre thing is that Fox Sports showed a replay that began just AFTER the defender let go of the arm. So weird. How could the officials miss this? And how could the TV crew miss it as well? @USMNT
I never thought I would see anything more impressive than Tennessee Twitter forcing the Vols to unhire Greg Schiano.
But the collective college football world uniting against Texas Tech and bullying it into getting rid of its starting QB, might have topped that.
This is the most united we’ve been as a country in decades.
🚨Merlin Röhl with definite red-carded challenge on Micky van de ven.
🤯VAR dismisses it and gives a free-kick to Everton!

So in one night we’ve seen a player getting booked for a foul in the penalty area without conceding a penalty and another player charging into Djed Spence using his elbow, breaking his jaw, without being sent off.
Just your average officiating in a game against Spurs.
Completely normal stuff.
It’s okay though because the clowns in offices have decided a split second tug of long hair the player had no idea he was even grabbing is “serious and foul play” but staring down the opponent before an elbow to the face isnt as dangerous?
Don’t the premier league, PGMOL, officials etc feel embarrassed about how incompetent they are to what seems like every football player, coach, fan etc across the country?
Booked Cucurella but before the ball was played? So the first player in history to get booked this way.
@FA_PGMOL this might be the worst decision of the season
