Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz: "What's happening in Minnesota right now defies belief. News reports simply don't do justice to the level of chaos and disruption and trauma the federal government is raining down upon our communities. They're pulling over people indiscriminately, including US citizens, and demanding to see their papers. At grocery stores, at bus stops, even at our schools, they're breaking windows, dragging pregnant women down the street, just plain grabbing Minnesotans and shoving them into unmarked vans. Kidnapping innocent people with no warning and no due process. Let's be very, very clear. This long ago stopped being a matter of immigration enforcement. Instead, it's a campaign of organized brutality against the people of Minnesota by our own federal government. This week, he went online to promise that 'the day of retribution and reckoning is coming.' That's a direct threat against the people of this state who dared to vote against him three times and who continue to stand up for freedom with courage and empathy and profound grace."
I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus.
It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her.
ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her.
Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable.
I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.
This is David Gentile. He put together a $1.6B Ponzi type investment scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff blush. Cops, teachers, farmers and other hard working folks lost their retirement.
Trump commuted his sentence and wiped all his restitution to victims.
Not Somali.
ICE cut off her wedding ring.
Sue Tincher is a 55-year-old American citizen: a grandmother, 5’4’, and white. Just in case you thought you’d be safe.
She walked to her neighbor’s house after getting alerts that ICE was nearby. She stood across the street and asked an officer if they were ICE. They told her to “get back.” She didn’t move.
Seconds later, they threw her to the ground, handcuffed her, and hauled her away. She spent five hours in leg shackles at a federal building. Agents cut off her wedding ring and threatened to pepper-spray her in the truck. Her husband spent all day trying to find where they’d taken her. Federal officials wouldn’t tell him.
Her "crime" was simply standing on a public street, watching, and asking questions.
Read that again: here in Minnesota, a U.S. citizen was arrested, restrained, and disappeared for hours, not for interfering, not for resisting, but for asking a question.
If they can arrest Sue Tincher for standing on a public sidewalk, they can arrest anyone.
Immigration attorneys said they’re seeing constitutional violations every single day now. I’m running because we need leaders who will call this what it is- un-American, unconstitutional, and unacceptable.
Sue Tincher stood up.
I’m standing up.
We must all stand up.

🚨 BREAKING: New video footage shows ICE agents violently assaulting and arresting a U.S. citizen… 20-year-old Mubashir…and it is even more horrifying.
The video shows agents slamming Mubashir into metal poles as they wrestle him into handcuffs. He’s not fighting. He’s not resisting. He’s pleading, telling them again and again that he is a U.S. citizen and that he has his ID on him. They ignore him.
Moments later, a group of people rush into the stairwell blowing whistles in protest. As they stand there, you hear Mubashir scream in pain: “My hand!” The agents then drag him outside toward their vehicle.
You can hear Mubashir tell them again that he has his ID. Instead of checking, the agents assault him a second time. They throw him to the ground, shove his face into the snow, and then forcing him into their car without ever verifying who he is.
They didn’t check his ID until after they’d already transported him miles away, to a detention facility, where they tried scanning his fingerprints and face into their system, and only then decided to look at the ID he’d been begging them to check from the start.
And when they realized they had brutalized an American citizen? They released him with no medical attention, no apology, and no transportation back to where they took him from.
This isn’t “immigration enforcement.”
This is lawless violence, committed by federal agents who act as if citizens have no rights and cameras don’t exist.
And this is exactly why people need to film, why states like Illinois are passing laws allowing residents to sue ICE agents directly… and why the public must keep demanding accountability until abuses like this are impossible to ignore and impossible to get away with.
🚨BREAKING: Rep. Dan Goldman just OBLITERATED Secretary Noem on live TV when he walked her right in a trap:
if immigrants with active asylum cases are here legally - isn’t deporting them is AGAINST the law? She couldn’t answer.
See you at your 2029 criminal trial, Kristi.
Here's trump, being as openly racist as he's ever been.
He's made it clear he only wants immigrants from White countries.
Bad: Haiti, Somalia, Afghanistan
Good: Norway, Sweden, Denmark
This is who he is, folks.
And if you love him, it's you too.
Veteran detained by ICE: I identified myself as a US citizen and a veteran, but that didn't matter. Agents smashed my window, sprayed tear gas and pepper spray into my car, dragged me out. Even after I complied, I was taken to a detention center and held for 3 days without charges. No phone call, no lawyer, no medical care, even though my skin burned from the chemicals.
They don't care if you're a US citizen. They don't care about your First Amendment right to observe, record, and protest them. They don't care because Stephen Miller told them they have "immunity."
Trump signs a bill reclassifying Nursing as “Not A Professional Degree” for College Students.
All you nurses out there who voted for Trump….
Congratulations.
You voted for this shit.
See this is what’s happening all over the Country because of ICE not showing Identification. These men are stopping women and if these women don’t know better they’re kidnapped and raped! This has to stop look at the way he got out of there when she was calling the real cops! 😡
MAGA is out here shrieking about Zohran being a jihadist Islamist about to impose sharia law while Trump warmly welcomes a former Al Qaeda leader designated terrorist to the White House.
