6th graders were able to tour the diet kitchen at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium today to learn how keepers manage the specific dietary needs of all of the animals at the zoo; such an important job! #summermatters #cbcsdsummerexplore

Today all grade-levels traveled to Iowa Western to experience training and careers in industrial technology, diesel mechanics, and welding. These experiences are so valuable and help our students become #futureready and #futurefocused. #cbcsdsummerexplore #summermatters.

Not QUITE Fun-Friday yet, but in addition to exploring the zoo this morning, students found fun ways to stay cool today. Drink plenty of water today and stay inside (or find your nearest splashpad)! 🏊‍♀️💧 #cbcsdsummerexplore #summermatters
