Who would’ve thought that having the honor to be credentialed for the 2019 month of May would’ve led me to become obsessed with not only the Indy 500, but IndyCar itself. I’ve now been to six 500’s.
Here’s the Marmon Wasp, driven by Ray Harroun to victory in the first 500
My favorite shot from yesterday. This view never gets old. I sat here on a ledge across the Pagoda for a solid hour after the race, letting a good chunk of the crowd to thin out.
This place is special. It has a certain magic about it. I love it here,
An Indy 500 for the record books, literally! So blessed for the tradition of going every year. Congratulations @FRosenqvist! Thank you @IMS for another magical raceday, and to a Tony Hulman for working his magic as he looked down on us today.
I am writing on Substack, if anyone would be interested in reading.
I used to love writing, so I decided to combine my photography and writing together. My page is “Relic and Ridge” for those who are interested in checking it out.
I visited the Indiana State Sanatorium for the first time in a year today. Mother Nature continued to take her toll on it. Such a historic and important site. The decay made for a neat photo opportunity, but it makes me sad to see it continue to slowly fade away
The former St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Billie Creek Village in Rockville, IN.
If it weren’t for that man with the nail-scarred hands to the right, my work would be meaningless. All glory to him.
The reality of this life is that we’re all just passing through. Enjoy it and don’t let it all just become a blur.

An absolutely amazing night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for WWE Monday Night RAW yesterday! I haven’t followed wrestling much at all since I was a teenager, but a find friend of mine got the tickets and invited me to go. It was an absolute blast! And I have today off too 😂
I spent a good portion of my PTO day from work giving my original 1888 hardwood floors some extra love and I think the results are worth it.
This is the upstairs of a former single family home, with the downstairs turned into commercial space and the upstairs is my apartment
I thought it was finally time to get the car deep cleaned during yesterday’s warmer and sunny day. 9yrs old with 230k miles. It has some dings, dents, scratches and a little bit of surface rust from rock chips, but this old Fusion has never let me down in 6yrs of owning it
“The Last Exit”
This lone wheelchair with a hospital gown draped over it sits in the basement of the administration building at the Indiana State Sanatorium in Rockville.
I exhibited this photo at the Opera House Gallery in Delphi, IN last summer.
