One To Watch…💫 #WorldCup2022
🇲🇦 AZZEDINE OUNAHI
I’m fully expecting this mercurial talent to leave Angers in 2023, the World Cup will only garner more potential suitors for him.
Scout Report 🧵⬇️
@CFCDaily Definitely not lost in translation. Look at many of us fans on here who said we need to sign a CB to replace Colwill & that a lack of replacement would cap our season. He’s our best CB by a distance
Hate the way they’re dancing around this Palmer injury too, he’ll have surgery
@Blue_Footy Yh agree
Guiu can’t play for another club after he makes an appearance for us this season too and we wouldn’t recall him if he wasn’t gonna play
Can’t really see a scenario where we have Jackson, Guiu, Delap (when fit) as CF options. Especially when Pedro has been quality at CF
@CFCDaily Top man. The days, months and years of dedication from yourself to grow your account to this extent is a madness. Very commendable. Everyone has to respect that regardless. To your continued success 🍻
Jackson clearly mentally affected (snatching at shots, selfish in front of goal) by the impact of Joao Pedro + Delap (to an extent) at this tournament. Personally don’t see a way back for him into this Chelsea team so would be best for all if the club cashed while they still can.
@el_cardinal The need for Jackson if he stayed will only be felt if Pedro got injured. JP is the starter. He’s better than Jackson in every department. Could even go sign another CF if Jackson was sold, if they really wanna signify intent to the rest of the major clubs in England & Europe
@_ChelseaTalk_ I’d be happy with Ekitike or Sesko but also would understand and prefer if they strengthen/add to other positions first - LCB/LB, GK. Also see the appeal of signing Kudus if we play Neto LW
Wonder if Man City could make a move for Joao Pedro. Reliable deputy to Haaland, can operate off the wing and in behind the CF as a 10. Very fluid player. Technical + physical profile is excellent. Ice cold mentality in high pressure situations (has an impressive penalty record).
@iShegxyG@CFCPys@FabrizioRomano Quenda is a RW no? So is Estevao and likely Neto unless you’re gonna play him on the left. Gittens is our only natural LW
@Ben_C_F_C_@FelixJohnston_ Pedro can and will be a between the lines player for Chelsea also. Look how deep he tends to drop at Brighton to receive the ball in pockets of space and pass/carry his way out of a press. That’s why I can’t see a Simons/Rogers signed now. Pedro covers multiple tactical roles
@CFC___AA Yh. We’re already seeing him run a 4-2-2-2 in a couple of games at this CWC. Pedro would partner Delap in that system for example. Maresca needs to be adaptable and continue innovating in order to keep us competitive, otherwise it’ll become stale and predictable
I like Joao Pedro to Chelsea from a profile and personnel perspective. Covers the several positons mentioned below. Fits the “Swiss Army Knife” criteria too. Can’t see the likes of Rogers/Yildiz/Simons being signed now tho. This is the LW/10/CF hybrid imo.

@philcaso £50m seems to be the going rate for quality utility players nowadays tbh. Especially with PL experience. It’s steep but it is what it is. Funny thing is if we signed someone like Ekitike or someone after selling Jackson there’s no guarantee Pedro even starts regularly for us 🤣
