@travisclones Were you here when they tried to.pass the referendum for the convention center? They did a miserable job on that campaign. It is often hard to get to yes in Ames. Treating the residents like we just need to accept everything without answering questions isn't the way.
A country’s vitality is deeply tied to the value it affords to human life in every form and condition, acknowledging the dignity endowed upon every human person by virtue of their very existence. The moral greatness of a nation is manifested, above all, in its capacity to support, protect and cherish the lives of all, especially the most vulnerable and those whose worth is questioned.
I’ve been busy w 5 county mtgs 2day but hear there’s been false reporting out of the Supreme Court in Washington If only we had cameras in the courtrooms there would be less confusion PASS MY BIPARTISAN CAMERAS IN THE COURTS LEGISLATION
Mlb.big inning is helpful in this situation. (Daughter's visiting us in the blackout capital -- Iowa, so couldn't watch the dbacks because they are playing the twins) but at least could see it in the quad box.
It’s not news that the MLB’s blackout rules are anti-consumer, but let me offer up another example. I am a subscriber to NATS TV and to MLB’s “Extra Innings” for all out of town games but cannot watch this game in Pensacola, which is as close to St. Pete as Boston is to DC. These blackout rules are anti-FAN (also a season tix holder fwiw). How is it that with all the cash I’m handing over to MLB and the Nats, I can’t watch a single game in all of FL vs the Rays or Marlins without subscribing to yet ANOTHER MLB TV tier?
Let's be clear about who Zach Lahn really is: A career political operative pushing an extreme agenda. Banning all abortions at conception. Banning cancer treatments. Expanding school vouchers with no oversight. Iowans deserve better than more of the same failed politics.
No, the cost to taxpayers for each student is $8148 - the same amount of state supplemental aid that goes to public schools for each student.
And they are education savings accounts, not vouchers. Not that there is anything wrong with vouchers, but they are different. #iagov
Unfortunately, I lost access to my old account. I’ve repurposed this account to continue the Cyclone Uniform Tracker.

This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60.

I know the biggest concern in Ames this weekend is CMC saying we are a food desert, so here's your reminder to go to all the restaurants this summer!
Everything bagel sandwich from Potter's on Saturday #claimAmes
Today, the Senate voted on the War Powers Resolution to rein in the Iran war and help put a stop to the forever wars. This bill would've required Congress to have a say before another dollar is spent. It failed by a single vote.
Want to guess the one Senator who didn't even show up?
Pete Ricketts.
REMINDER! If you'd like to vote absentee in Iowa's June 2 primary election, your absentee ballot request *must* be RECEIVED by your county auditor's office by 5:00 p.m. on Mon., May 18. Visit https://t.co/N68jGfEPaf
The same Duffys who threw endless fits on national television when Pete was working from our son's ICU bedside are now bragging about their multi-month, taxpayer-funded family road trip while gas and grocery prices soar for American families because of Trump's war of choice. How much more unfocused, unserious, and out of touch can you be?
