Thanks @skillshare for featuring me on the Rising Stars list! 😁Watch my class now and take your app concepts to life via a storyboard - https://t.co/HewnW3J89n #MVP#Entrepreneur#uxdesign
@Spotify 's Car Thing is great for drivers in US and the rest of the world that drives on the left, but not good enough for those driving on the right. You can't see the screen when your hand is on the dial. https://t.co/Es3pYCgD0G
"If someone is speaking to you in a foreign accent, they are smart enough to know [at least] two languages and were brave enough to do their job in their second."💚
I have blocked out time for meals, important tasks etc on my calendar since we have switched to remote working a year ago. It helps me set boundaries and get things done. Works better than a to-do list. #process#showyourwork
The Mandalorian and The Lion King were shot almost exclusively using these tools
Even Hong Kong International Airport uses a "digital twin" built on Unity to simulate changes in passenger volume
@mririgo Thanks for your article Michael! I have one question about the use of emojis. What is the best way to add them to a site, especially emojis are often used in line with text? I know there are libraries out there that turns emojis into icon font, but not sure whether that's best.
One thing I've learnt:
Design for the vision / maximum state. Then strip back to the bare-bone or to meet business & tech constrains.
Easier than starting from the minimum requirements and building on top.

@wienfung Not sure whether this particular design lesson I've learnt would apply to church. But I have come across topics like 'design thinking for church' which could be useful :)

4. Make space for chaos
5. Focus on people
Service design → solving people's problems
Product design → letting people get things done
Brand design → making a connection with people
How to bring brand into service design projects by @jamiesamman in yesterday's @idean_UK Pi People event
1. Understand people to tune into how they feel
2. Consider how people will experience your brand across the entire service. Turn +ve moments into signature moments

Concerning reports that the pro-democracy activist Grandma Wong has been arrested again for "disorderly conduct in a public place" at around 7pm HKT. She is still in police custody at Tseung Kwan O police station.
The best way to spot gaps / sub-par bits in your design? By talking to another person through it.
I always spot something I want to amend when I talk it out. Every. Single. Time. 🙃 😂

@polygon_mesher Add oil :) I read in the book Show Your Work by @austinkleon that making your work in progress public (like what you did here!) will help you with your learning and process. Can't wait to see more from you!
Recently I've joined UXPear UX梨 🍐, a #Cantonese UX community (with a pun in the name, if you know the language!) Learnt a lot from everyone. :)

If you have a "simulated environment" and a working "real-life environment" in the same application, make sure they are clearly labeled and have separate #informationarchitecture.
Otherwise users will mix the two up.

A powerful comparison in one graphic. This reinforces my motivation to stop using the term 'user research'.
