looking at my vlive notif & the old X icon gives me nostalgia fr. glad i saved these cuz my old stan acc was locked!! i’m rlly in this BTS ARMY shit for life!! 💜💟
@StayvilleKarma@jungkoonismo other big artists does bigger rollout. long period of promo, smart marketing strat but still fails to achieve the same result as other artists. how much fd/casuals will engage is the determining factor. TS w minimal promo still does good numbers than bts, that’s how bts is to skz
@StayvilleKarma@taeophile_ same w ts promo. ts usually does decent, smart rollout w easter eggs, arirang had a good rollout as well maybe huge than ts promo but we didn’t break her record instead we just got half of its streams. diff is the fd size & casuals engagement. that’s it. there’s no assurance.
@StayvilleKarma@taeophile_ while i agree that better promo could’ve push skz’s numbers higher, it’s still hard to assume they’d generate as much as bts or more than bts bcs their profile says otherwise. i think w/ better promo, skz could’ve beat/set rec for 4th gen but not kpop in general.
@StayvilleKarma@jungkoonismo not to mention bts have consistently generated high streaming numbers across many releases/eras, may it be spot or AM skz are also successful, but their streaming profile has always been generally different, meaning promotion is only one part of the equation
@StayvilleKarma@jungkoonismo even b4 hiatus when bts still does the typical kpop cb rollout/window, they were alr massive, gaining numbers that were deemed impossible for a kpop grp. promo helps but it isn’t the sole factor. to say they have that purely bcs of promo is undermining a large, highly engaged fd.
@StayvilleKarma@taeophile_@StayvilleKarma so when the album comes out on aug, which gives u more than a month, will it have good numbers than arirang overall? most esp on AM which is said to be more organic than spot.
@TheOGDragonLord@btsglobalhit some are set ups & some are not. even b4 arirang they’ve been actively saying bts are over after military so armys claps back w arirang’s commercial success. they can’t overtake bts simply bcs bts is bigger & idk why they hate that fact. there’s literally nothing wrong w it.
@TheOGDragonLord@btsglobalhit i’m not saying it’s a flop. i’m actually telling u the diff aside from the PLs/promo/days of annc factor. ur grp is leading 4th gen & that’s good but not kpop in general. most stays claim they’re bigger than bts, if we have atm an honest convo, do u think they’re bigger than bts?
@TheOGDragonLord@btsglobalhit while i get ur point, aside from PLs reach/promo, the diff in fandom size is vast, appeal to casuals outside twt/tt/kpop bubble. bts spot streams matched their AM success & across diff major platforms/charts, run it failed to enter AM which is said to be more organic in numbers
@RoRoNo4Zor01@PinKpop_insider yeah with the way y’all claim they’re the most popular group compared to bts it should have gotten more bcs they’re supposedly THEE biggest. are these the kpop giants? the bar is in hell.
@UIdfwu@daegustime here, check the mv. i’m not hating btw. they can take inspiration & incorporate it in their own artistic direction but they’re saying they did it first, they represent better, they promote korea better which is not sitting right even questioning daechwita’s true historical meaning
@MarianeHOU69020@daegustime@ruby_staaa03 it’s a traditional korean military music used during king’s marches, originating back in joseon era. it’s a blend of wind instruments/gongs etc. lit what u hear throughout the song. his intro “myeong-geum-il-ha dae-chwi-ta ha-rap-shin-da" is what they sing as the king walks.
@letstay8@PreranaMagar2@linosSKZ8@kimv_ttvps@AboutMusicYT take two was a surprise song, no teaser, no mv, not part of an album, not a pre-release, announced days b4 & debuted w 7m. y’all had promo w ur prev cbs but haven’t even cracked 5m meanwhile a 10 days old song pulled more streams. is promo & days of announcement the problem? idts
@linosSKZ8@kimv_ttvps@AboutMusicYT take two was a surprise, gift song for armys during military era where lots of armys explored other groups. no mv, no teaser, no promo, just announcement days b4 release & it debuted w/ 7m. come over too which was leaked months ago, performed on concerts debuted w/ 5m cope hard
@jane03_j@yoonieJ00N_7tan b4 u come up w promotion excuses, come over was a hidden track, leaked everywhere months ago, performed multiple times, released only as a gift song. if they’re bigger than bts, no amount of bts promotions should stop skz from topping. come over debuted w 5m streams mind u
@canadian_haruka@LorStay4Life yeah bcs y’all shouldn’t watch reac vids. lots of them usually just do it for clout/views, they know how big kpop fandoms are. they’re not casuals turning into fans, they’re content creators, that’s what they do to market their channels. u can sense their plastic reactions
@jane03_j@KpopInside4rdi not to mention anpanman went at 1 on us itunes on a random, normal day just bcs we felt like it. it’s normal for us but seemed so hard for y’all to wait 8 yrs to finally get it after all the multiple cb’s in 4 yrs of bts hiatus. doesn’t even scratch the surface of 2019 bts success
@jane03_j@KpopInside4rdi bts are reaching 1 on us & uk for years now. if they’re more popular as you always say, they better break every arirang newly set records/history. break something bts haven’t cracked yet to make your claims “same level” credible otherwise stop setting skz up.
