Want to find out what Cross Creek Ag Solutions can do for your farm? If you're in South-Eastern Missouri, give Sam a call today! Whether it's seed or bio-nutritional products, we're here to help.
A low-cost fertility program looks good on paper, but the real cost is the yield you don’t grow. Cheap programs often ignore micronutrients, fail to match crop demand, leave deficiencies you can’t see and more.
Saving $30/acre means nothing if you lose $80/acre in yield.
At Cross Creek Ag Solutions we're all about helping you find the right system for your farm. We're here to help you develop a program that fit your goals. Call Kyle, or any of our dedicated sales team members, today to schedule a meeting!
Take advantage of discounts available on Bio-Nutritional products until April 15th!
Shoot us an email or give us a call to place your order or schedule a time to build a program that will work best for your farm.
Not all nutrients generate the same return. Some nutrients pay you back big… Others barely move the needle. When you find the part of your program with the lowest ROI, that’s the area that needs the most attention. The quickest way to increase profit is fixing the weakest link.
Common fact? Most fields are NOT uniform. And yet, most acres get the exact same fertilizer rate.
Uniform rates guarantee 2 things:
1️⃣ You overapply where nutrients are already sufficient
2️⃣ You underapply where nutrients are limiting yield
What do you see in your fields?
Most growers never track how much nitrogen they lose.
It’s not uncommon for 20–40% of applied nitrogen to disappear before the crop ever gets a chance to use it.
If you want to protect your yield — and your wallet — you have to protect your nitrogen.
One soil sample tells you where your nutrients were at that moment.
Trend lines tell you where nutrients are going over time.
Trends show you:
• Which nutrients are slipping
• Which ones are building
• Where you’re losing efficiency
• Where you can cut or reinvest
A soil test is a management tool — but only if it’s recent. If your tests are older than 2–3 years, you’re operating off outdated information. Good decisions require fresh data.
If your last test was before the pandemic, you’re overdue.
When a grower says, “This is how we’ve always done it,” what they really mean is: “I’m comfortable with this.” But comfort doesn’t grow yield. Data does. Research does. Observation does. So why would your fertility plan stay the same? Ask yourself: Is tradition costing me money?
