Lightning Strikes over the Hudson. I took this photo while on assignment for Newsday Westchester in 2012. I was originally covering the 4th of July fireworks from the Walkway Over the Hudson, but then this happened.

In December I took a trip to Hawaii. I had an amazing time traveling through the Islands for 3 weeks. I was told it was "Rainbow Season". This was taken during a hike at Koke'e State Park on Kauai. It was a seriously magical moment.

I MADE IT! After 4 days of the most life-changing trek of my life, I finally arrived at Machu Picchu. Completely incredible experience trekking with Alpaca Expeditions and my new little trek family. Those porters are really incredible. The knee pain is real. But, VALE LA PENA!

"Peaceful Sunset" is an image that I made back when I was a senior at Ithaca College for my senior "thesis" project. The project itself was called "Perpetuity". I shot the project on 35 mm color film and made digital prints.

I recently visited Amantaní Island on Lake Titicaca in Peru. I walked up to see the view from the ceremonial site Pachamama - at the elevation around 13,550 feet. The island is home to a small population (<4000) of Quechua people.
