Full-time professors @ChiCityColleges can earn up to $130,000/year. Is it so crazy to think an adjunct professor should earn $40,000/year for teaching 80% of a full-time load??

Budgets are a shell game. @ChiCityColleges transferred an avg of $32M the last 3 FY from the fund used for salaries & student support to the fund used for construction & renovations. They didn't even spend it all!

Now they "can't pay" equitable wages. Shell game!

Admin @ChiCityColleges likes to use the excuse that they pay adjuncts poverty wages because we are "part-time" without ever acknowledging that they perpetuate a system where full-time opportunities are nearly impossible. We teach ~60% of credit courses!
