Had a draft on Friday to split the teams into lifting platoons for the rest of the school year. Hoping to bring a little competition and leadership development to the last quarter of the school year!
The weight room is the heartbeat of your team. And you are not going to consistently beat anybody without gaining an advantage over your opponent in that area of your program.
It’s just too important.

This morning we wrapped up our summer strength and conditioning. Congrats to these girls on being some of our top performers and biggest improvers in the past year! With all that goes on in the summer, the job all the girls do in getting to weights is greatly appreciated!
Saw some good testing numbers from the boys this week! It was a busy summer getting guys ready to step in and fill roles for the upcoming season. With the calendar flipped to August, we're only four weeks out until we get to kickoff the 2024 season!
More records going down!
Parker Redden - 40 yd dash
Bode Berggren - as an 8th grader, jumps 28” on his vertical
Cannon Mooney - Hang Clean
Mason Quilhot - Back Squat! Look out @IzaacDickey he’s coming for your records 💪🏻
🚨 School Records 🚨
Ella Cramer breaks the Dead Lift record for her weight class and @EmaDickey broke both the Hang Clean & Dead Lift records!
With 170 in the Hang Clean and 335 in the Dead Lift, Ema Dickey also broke the ALL-TIME records for girls in both lifts.
Great job💪🏻
@HaydenDeLano@MitchBoshart4 🤦🏼♂️ after about a 45-60 seconds of near max speed with starting and stopping, the phosphocreatine stores in the muscle are exhausted. Then resting for 2-2:30 minutes allows for minor recovery and a second run tests the condition of an athlete for an anaerobic sport! 🤷🏼♂️😂
Already destroying people in track, now this 7th grade girl shattering records in the weight room and she’s not done!
Bench press, vertical jump (by 4 inches) and 40-yard dash.
Let’s gooo💪🏻
Today didn't finish the way we wanted it to, but to say I'm proud of Devin is an understatement. Kid lived our program mantra and peaked at the right time. We will be back! State runner up at 126 lbs, Devin Nuttelman.
