These guidelines highlight that having the #APOE e4/e4 genotype is "neither necessary nor sufficient to cause AD". Some people with e4/e4 may have earlier ages of onset but it's very important to highlight that this is not the same as hereditary early-onset AD (EOAD). ^ER #NSGC22
