In the fitness influencer space, creators start off making really information dense videos, then they’ll either pivot to:
1) making natty-or-nots.
2) rehashing old content.

Anyway, the ability to transfer learn and see parallels across domains is the biggest skill. Solidity tips are kinda like occasional inspirational bits, but I’d rather you master the fundamentals like how to master temperature, cooking chemical process, etc. Everything can be jazzed from first principles.

As my dev audience are already advanced, rehashing old stuff might feel super corny to them. And I really don’t have the ability to do that anyways.

Rushing new code just to post on Monday is not a sustainable thing to do. And it’s also fking dangerous.

I’ll be vacationing next week from 18th Oct to 27 Oct in Japan.

Recipe for yaki miso tilapia pasta soup:
- Spread 1 tbps shiro miso onto a ceramic non-stick pan.
- Ramp pan from room temp to 150°C (302°F) on Breville Control Freak. Miso’s Maillard point is quite low.
- Once reached, quench pan with 200mL of room temp water.
- Add dried scallops, hold at 95°C (203°F) for 1 min.
- Add a frozen tilapia. Drop pan to 65°C (149°F), and hold for 20 mins.
- Add 1 tbps of sukiyaki sauce to the miso soup.
- Start boiling your pasta of choice to 1 min pre al-dente and drain and leave in the final bowl to dry.
- Pour the miso soup into the final bowl and serve.

- One of the challenges in designing a library will be what algo should be used. Look up why C++’s map is a tree, unordered_map only came 15 years later.

- Libraries with generics heavily depends on compiler’s ability to zero-cost-abstract with minimal nudging. In Solady, we sometimes do very disgusting stuff to nudge the compiler. Why writing Rust and C++ feels good is cuz the compiler is smart enough to not need all these nudging. So core Solidity would need a really good optimizer to go beyond syntax sugar generic niceties.

- Cautious on a possible Python 2 vs 3 situation. Hope learnings in core can and will trickle back to classic.

- In a world of classic and core Solidity, Solady plans to maintain and develop for both. Languages with a crazy standard library, still has third party libraries (e.g. Eigen), for domain specific knowledge.
