Clinicians, if you see a patient
wearing a mask - just put yours on too.
Don’t ask us if that’s what we want.
Don’t ask if we are unwell.
Don’t make it so obvious that you don’t understand infection control.
You work in a hospital.
Pretend you get it, and put it on.
ACE rejection today. Feedback was positive, with v few recommendations for changes - mainly just 'we liked it but funds are limited'
The project meets Let's Create aims & has 60% match funding & 52 confirmed partners.
I've never known it this hard. About ready to give up, tbh.
I warn people about catching COVID because if you get Long Covid, doctors will look at you and tell you your symptoms are just anxiety. Any kind of medical issue they can’t explain? Anxiety! You believe the medical system will help you but that’s because you haven’t needed it.
If you want to know the truth about anything, always follow the money.
When I got travel insurance, I had to declare my #LongCovid from a 2020 Covid infection and look at the conditions associated with it!
Insurance companies know.

Reminders:
- Kids don’t need to get sick to be healthy
- Viruses are bad. They can cause damage to our bodies+long-term issues
- The need you think kids have, to get exposed to germs to teach their immune system, is what vaccines are for
- COVID is worse than many other viruses
There's literally no good reason to take your mask off for photos. Wearing a mask in photos normalizes masking, disrupts the dominant narrative that the pandemic is over, and shows solidarity with disabled & immunocompromised folks. Why are you so afraid of being seen in a mask?
It's infuriating people don't know that rapid covid tests (LFTs, RATs) are only useful for *confirming* an illness is covid, not *ruling out* that it isn't covid.
One negative rapid test isn't enough to rule out covid.
You need to test multiple times over days to do that.
July is Disability Pride Month. I am always proud to be disabled but right now, I’m enraged! Disabled people are actively being pushed out of society and punished for existing. With mask bans, our rights are being taken away and they don't care. Our rage is valid!
i often think about what a self-indictment it is that non-autistics consider it to be a bad thing (to the extent that it’s a diagnostic criterion for autism) that we stick to our principles even when doing so is socially unpopular
