@SNY_Mets On paper Stearns did a ok job...All the sideways moves helped the Mets financially and allowed the team to spend money. This ROI has not gone as planned. That's business of Baseball. He should be fired as well.
@FDSportsbook It's part of the game players know the rules and fans know the rule. It's what it is get over it. All sports have these type of rules....
@SleeperMets@MLBNetwork In this trade, you're getting a younger player who has spent less time on the field and you get less of defensive player however, he makes up on base percentage & hitting . I make this move right away and just hope to get the season and the team straightened out. #NewMets....
@Mets last week he's been keyed in...The kid can hit. He's also made the good defensive stops. I'm hoping for steady growth and maturation. HOPE #GottaBelieve
@TalkinBaseball_ After other at bats in last week this will probably be good to get him going again. It's actually the best way to make sure he's getting focused on baseball in the game and not thinking about the current situation. Whoever decided this move kudos. Not a permanent move for sure.
@RealSkipBayless Giants can win the draft:
1️⃣ Trade back from 5 and 10
2️⃣ Stockpile picks in rounds 2-3
3️⃣ Target: CB, LB, NT, S, and WR
4️⃣ Lower contractual obligations = more future flexibility 💰
Depth is biggest need.Get more opportunities 2 find starters. 😤📈 #NYG#NFLDraft2026
@CollegeFBPortal@jaxon_smith1 Not a joke—it’s a systemic problem. Manufacturers have made sizing a nightmare for athletes across all sports. You can measure your feet perfectly, but "size" has become a suggestion that varies by brand. We need universal standards. 👟🚫 #SportsTech#AthleteLife
@FOS what was that???
Prime Lucked out both games were within 5 pts the whole 2ndhalf with back in forth to the last seconds of the game. Great start to NBA Playoffs....Can this excitement keep up in the next few rounds?
@EddiePresti_ All-GM made moves sideways instead of leveling up. If you believe in the youngsters, let them play—no more back & forth. Vets haven’t played to potential,& that’s hurting the team. The manager needs to adjust sooner, & ownership needs to relax—this is a marathon, not a sprint.
@Tigertom1Fong@PLeonardNYDN I'm not liking any of the QBs on Roster...Maybe just keep Winston as backup...sell pick and solidify O Line, Defensive Backfield, add to running backs Give Dart one more season but he is not a Top Ten QB ...
All the Major Futbol Leagues have had these types of boom throughout the years...Players should be open minded to move on and take advantage of their situation....
@FabrizioRomano Saudi isn’t just a payday anymore, it’s becoming a real career chapter players are openly planning for.
When captains start speaking like this, the shift feels inevitable, who’s the next big name to follow him there
@SNYtv@elizabenn no thank you... Getting more depth in Pitching didn't really help Mets last season with injuries and lack of performance...The Mets need to formulate their plan to obtain starting pitching without losing depth.
@KingSB93@PSchrags Micah P is at Peak...But this also means any future injuries will take longer to come back from. Another reason why it's difficult to think of signing players with big contracts and guarantees. Packers just entered the Twilight Zone way faster than a playoff opportunity.
@PSchrags Giants new Era was beginning of 2023. All this in between has just been a big mishap in signings, draft picks, and contract disputes. You would think they could be a 9 win team but they are not …
