Can we all get a mental health break for a month or so when we make it through this pandemic? It scares me that we’re just going to go full speed into fixing the economic problems (basically working harder) without truly understanding the impact this has had on all of us.
@designinginward You’re spot on about the success metrics. All too often, we look at success as winning at all costs instead of actually improving people’s lives, with winning as a byproduct.
Won't name the company, but it was a good try getting me to buy more just to fix the order they messed up. Mistakes happen. Fulfillment isn't easy, especially during a pandemic. Problem is, you just lost all my trust.
Customer support is such a key part of the commerce experience that is so rarely done well. Too much focus on getting someone to buy without thinking about what happens next is a recipe for disaster. Trust & loyalty is not easily earned, but can be broken in an instant.
