@thehealthb0t Buy a pig local. They're small and fit in a 5.1 cu. ft freezer. You can get the bacon uncured, everything cut to your preference and you know what's in that pig when it goes to butcher. Usually they deliver and you pick up packages of frozen pork, sausage, etc.

@FarmGirlCarrie They were great days. We even had a turtle race once. I was allowed to play in the woods, in the mud, walk the forest, ride bikes to anywhere I wanted and on allowance day I'd buy candy or fruits, depending... and then we moved!
