@jakemalasek I guess? All of them could put ball on net, but what’s the point in that? The keeper is saving it from that far out unless you hit a tiny section with a lot of pace. And there isn’t time to line it up, as the defender is also doing their job attempting to stop you from shooting

@davidcollinscv4 For first time ever, though, I don’t feel we’d go into a game at a tactical disadvantage (& maybe an advantage??).

2022 vs Netherlands. I thought we had a MF who could control game. The Dutch however, allowed it, & exploited that in the counter. Poch has that covered, imo.

🇪🇸, 🇳🇱 we would struggle but could make it a game. Lose 8/10.

@kevhonor 1994 I was 8, & watched a bit but didn’t comprehend. I’ve watched at least 50 games of 1998 (was in France on family vacation, definitely added to my love of it moving forward), 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 (even sans USMNT), 2022, & probably about 25 full matches so far in 2026.

Then we hired a real tactical mind who is known to be a loveable hard-ass & get the most out of his players and scheme them well. Now, Indians are champs and USMNT have a favorable draw to the quarters… from there, anything could, in theory, happen.

@Top100Rick This isn't slow play, imo. Slow play is not calculating & figuring out your shot before it's your turn. It's 6 min on green, 5 lining up putts. It's walking off distances vs using your watch/caddie/gun. It's so many things, but taking 20 seconds once over shot is not one of them

@DanCampbellBrnr @TigersJUK I can probably ID half the worlds countries exact & the other half w/in the general area. I am dumbfounded by fellow Americans who cant identify a country outside USA/CAN/MEX. I watch these videos daily & it embarrasses me.

I cannot ID all the Canadian provinces, however.

@mikbaer @FranmilsEyebrow Not mental. He is a bad hitter. His bat speed is not something he can just bring back as he ages, & it was 1 thing that made him semi-dangerous. Now he has to cheat & can't let ball travel deep in zone & still get hard contact to go oppo.

@PeteFiutak It would be infinitely worse product w/o offside. What a lazy, antiquated opinion. Just imagine 3 guys playing at 6 yard box all gm. There would be no space, no break outs, no offense. Everyone complains about soccer being boring, yet their solution is always this — more boring.
